The History of Rockfield Model Schools
From a humble beginning with just thirteen pupils to a thriving community of more than two hundred students, the Rockfield story is one of faith, dedication, growth and an unwavering commitment to quality education.
Rockfield Model Schools began its journey in August 2018 with one teacher and thirteen pupils in a rented apartment.
From the very beginning, Mr. and Mrs. Oriaku were personally involved in building the foundation of the school. They did not only lead the vision; they also joined in teaching, providing the guidance, care and learning support the children needed.
What started as a small beginning has steadily grown into a school community committed to helping children discover their potential, develop strong character and prepare for a successful future.
The Beginning
Rockfield Model Schools opened its doors with one teacher and thirteen pupils in a rented apartment, with Mr. and Mrs. Oriaku actively involved in teaching and supporting the children.
A New Chapter
Five years after its establishment, Rockfield expanded its educational journey by introducing secondary education under the name Rockfield Model College.
Growing Stronger
Today, Rockfield Model Schools serves more than 200 boys and girls across its primary and secondary school grades, continuing its mission of nurturing young minds and shaping future leaders.
